Inspired by the capricci, the imaginary landscapes found in Italian painting, Eva Jospin erects a monumental sculpture in the choir of the Romanesque abbey of Montmajour. Using cardboard, the sculptor works with exquisite precision in a spectacular, perilous game of construction. Accordingly, the cenotaph, a majestic temple, exhales a baroque mystery.
Eva Jospin was born in Paris in 1975.She is a sculptor and lives and works in Paris. She is represented by the Suzanne Tarasiève gallery in Paris.
